The course is dedicated to business management systems. You will learn how to design and improve management systems that are the basis for increasing efficiency, strengthening innovation and enterprise growth. Classes are based on case studies of developing and transforming enterprises.

The course focuses on both classic trends in management, like early management thought, Scientific Management Human Relations Movement, Administrative approach, and modern management concepts such as: System approach, Contingency theory, Outsourcing, Virtual Organization, Lean Management, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Benchmarking.


The course focuses on business process orientation and architecture in the enterprise. It's rooted in broder concepts of contemporary management and management systems. During the classes various methods of business process identification, analysis, measurement, improvement and automattion will be addressed.
